Notts_TT Posted October 10, 2017 Share Posted October 10, 2017 (edited) Hi Guys I'm building a set of led rear lights, using a 3mm cut alloy composite sign board shaped to perfectly fit in light approx 20mm from lense. Here's my LED set out mock up. Notts_TT Posted October 11, 2017 Author Share Posted October 11, 2017 In pics I have cut the alloy plate to stick to the plastic insert which was trimmed so Plate sits better, then wrapped it in a 4d car on wrap, then cut the file I created of 5mm holes where I want the leds to sit ready to drill, last pic is the stencil stuck to plate. Time for some soldering and adding resistors I think. I bought White leds Orange leds And 2 powers of red leds, one for side one for brake.. Any thoughts on this? You mean for the backing plate ?? These leds are really directional and only project light out, it's not really a spread of light.
