Ah. sorry, forgot about that bit. On a new car it SHOULD be fine, if you go with a single injector, all you have is a small hole left to bung up or whatever when you're done with it.

Oh, and avoid dry kits, they depend on your existing fuel system to be able to cope. I've seen a member's car over on ccuk which had a Zex dry kit - he ended up with a large hole throught the top of one of his pistons! Wizards of Nos is definitely the way forward.

OK guys and gals ...... I need to find out about nitrous fairly quickly and don't know the first thing about it.

Nitrous?

- It's bloody marvellous to inhale just after you've broken your arm into 4 pieces in the middle of an arm-wrestle.

Been there, done that. (seriously).

er... yes.

not a nice event at all. makes a very loud snapping/cracking noise too.

Almost makes it worth keeping a bottle of nitrous round the house in case of any nasty accidents. I didn't even know before that ambulances carry it, but now i know.

Recommended ! (NOS, not the arm-wrestling)

I did have nitrous on my N/A. In my experience its not worth the hassle unless you live very near a supplier (which I found I didn't) and also its only any good if you have the thing switched on when you need it and have gas when you need it. It is also a bit of a short lasting hit. Don't get me wrong it is a good laugh but its sodding expensive. I'd personally say get it for track or 1/4 miling but don't bother with expecting it to be much use to you on road (ps its illegal on the road to boot)

you are quite right mate.i have nos fitted in my na and it's good fun while the bottle last's.but living in Jersey it costs a fortune to get noz over from the mainland.it's got to go anyway as i am fitting a turbo these days.
