Supra 2jzge auto, spark issues, struggle to start, cuts out at high rpm sometimes whe

Hi all! Just picked up my first supra, it's an import, 2jzge, auto.

 

I bought it off a guy near me who's had it 13 years! (Since import) but it wasn't starting, he's just had a new rotor arm fitted in the distributor and a new cap or something. It wouldn't start after this but I put pressure on the igniter? And it started, I've drove it round all day and every time I start it I have to throttle it, it wants to cut out but then revs up, if I floor it off the mark it looses power and revs go all funny, if i don't keep the throttle half open it cuts out completely, can anyone help? I can't find any similar situations[emoji31]

 

Also the igniter is f***ing hot to touch, anyone know where I can find one in the uk?
