Paul -C-
Right now I have a double decat pipe, with a CW restrictor ring. When it's really cold I hit 1.2 bar no problem. But when it's a warm day I only hit 0.8 bar. Are these numbers normal, or does the big difference in boost in relation to outside temperature indicate my intercooler is past its best? Nic
Paul, that's quite a big difference, so you may well be right about the IC. I get quite big extremes of ambient temps here ranging from up to 40C in summer down to around 6C in winter, most I usually see is around 0.2bar max with FMIC fitted. I have a boost controller fitted, so can adjust for summer or winter temps.
