Boost/Outside Temperature question

Right now I have a double decat pipe, with a CW restrictor ring. When it's really cold I hit 1.2 bar no problem. But when it's a warm day I only hit 0.8 bar.

 

Are these numbers normal, or does the big difference in boost in relation to outside temperature indicate my intercooler is past its best?

Paul, that's quite a big difference, so you may well be right about the IC.

 

I get quite big extremes of ambient temps here ranging from up to 40C in summer down to around 6C in winter, most I usually see is around 0.2bar max with FMIC fitted. I have a boost controller fitted, so can adjust for summer or winter temps.
