Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Services > Messenger Change startup type to 'Disabled' Click Stop Click OK. Go to tools in IE, click Internet options, security tab, custom level and scroll down to scripting/active scripting and click disable. Click OK and a box will come up basically saying are you sure, Just click yes. Apparently websites need this for pop-ups ... give it a go and let me know how ya get on mate ......
