Speed pulse- CAN interfaces

Hello. It's a long shot but here goes nothing.

I've just finished swapping a 2008 V8 into my car. But for the cruise control to work I need to tell the ecu how fast I'm going obviously. Normally the ecu get this info from the skid (ABS) ecu. But unfortunately I my ABS & TRC ecu can't speak CAN.

Now there are a lot of Can-Speed pulse interfaces but they do exactly the opposite. The only thing that comes close to what I need is a GPS speed to CAN interface. But we all know how vulnerable a GPS signal is. (tunnel, bad weather etc.)

I found this SenderCAN from Murphy at http://www.fwmurphy.co.uk/. This seems to be what I'm looking for. But too bad for me they need a certain minimum order to apply for custom solutions.

I know newer 2JZ-GTE also communicate with (sort of) CAN. So perhaps someone has won this battle before?

Thanks. Appreciate all the info.

I did consider it. The ABS ECU is actually integrated with the actuator. Second hand they still go for premium. I think an interface would be less complicated and maybe a bit cheaper.
