garetheves
Just a few quick questions realy about painting the inside of headlights. 1. Do you need to use a primer? Ive already sanded down the old paint to give the new paint a "key" but will it need the primer? 2. Am i right in saying that Matt Black is the usual colour for the facelift look? 3. Is there another colour more of an anthracite colour? 4. Do you need a coat of Lacquer (sp?) to finish it off with. Cheers.
Prof. Monkey
Primer yes, it stabilises the plastic chemically. I used laquer, it adds to the shine.
garetheves
Cool cheers for that. Is the paint more at risk of cracking as well if you dont use lacquer?
Branners
I used satin paint, it gives a sheen to the paint job without being glossy. JB
bromy
Facelifts are a charcoal colour and as branners says use a satin or matt finish
