The front badge was upside down and I couldn't stand it being so glaringly wrong to me. I've carefully removed it in one piece but it has left behind this: I would like to remove it all before re attaching the badge in the correct orientation. So due to my lack of experience in such matters... What do you recommend I use to remove the remaining adhesive? For bonus points, what should I use to secure the badge after? Max5437 Posted October 28, 2015 Share Posted October 28, 2015 I have used tar remover (autoglym from halfords was about £6) to great success, just need to apply it then let it settle then using some more on a microfibre and it should come off. cered Posted October 29, 2015 Share Posted October 29, 2015 glue/tar remover will do it. spray it on, let it settle for 10-15mins. spray some more on and scrape off with something like a credit card, rub off the remnants with a cloth. It seems to have been stuck on with super glue, the tar remover is slowly breaking it down. Been applying it for an hour at a time to really react with it. Can't wait to have it looking right again!
