outatime
welcome to the board Loads of people have asked this, try searching for 'UK Brakes'. The only way to be sure is to try your wheels on a Supra with UK spec brakes...
Terminator
Hi and welcome to the BBS. The clearance really depends on the profile of your existing wheel, 20mm sounds OK but you should check. There may be a Stevenage meet in the near future so you could compare with some UK wheels there. If not Stevenage, then we have a meet on the first Thursday each month in Holywell about 6 miles off the A14, 10 miles west of Cambridge.
