msupra1
I have the downpipe wrapped and use a turbo blanket.. and I'm sure this helps but the engine bay still get quite hot. Is running a heat shield to protect the brake booster a good idea or necessary?
Chris Wilson
Probably not needed, but if you want to KNOW put a temperature sticker or two on the servo canister and see what temps it reaches. K type thermocouple temp readouts are now available on really REALLY cheap Ebay multimeters. You could glue the thermocouple tip to the servo and read the temps from inside the car, in real time. There's no excuse these days for wondering how hot anything is, the technology to MEASURE them is dirt cheap.
