low rpm boost problem

i have a vvti 6 speed and i am only getting a max of 0.5 bar boost on the first turbo and normal boost on the second

eg 2nd or 3rd gear if i accelerate ill hit 0.4 or 0.5 boost below 4000rpm on first attempt if i try a second time eg 5 to 10 seconds later im lucky if the boost gauge goes to zero

so far since this started trying to figure out whats wrong Ive changed almost all vacuum hoses on the turbo side (first turbo) also i can sometimes hear the sound of someone letting the air out of a balloon while pinching the bit you'd fill the balloon with

 

im thinking of putting the factory recirculating valve back into the car and taking out the dump valve

 

anyone with any advice on what to look for or suggestions on what is the problem would be a great help

The stock-bpu VVTI supra is not supposed to have a vent to atmosphere BOV fitted it messes with the maf sensor.

 

Although I doubt that's the main problem,what did you change all your vac pipes too? Silicone?

yes i changed to silicone hoses
