Codes 22 and 78 please help

Hi all have a issue with my supra,

It really struggles to start from cold

Got these codes from it today 22 and 78

would these codes give cold start issues? cheers J

so its water temp and fuel pump control signal.

Both would cause issues with cold starting.

can you give more details about what happens what you have done recently and any background info.

Yes have you done anything to the wiring?

 

The engine temperature sensor for the ECU is on the Inlet side of the block, near the front . . it's the only one with TWO wires, so check the plug is on properly.

 

And the Fuel Pump ECU is in the rear of the car, and has several wires coming from the main Engine ECU - have you disturbed any of the wiring at all?
