The engine temperature sensor for the ECU is on the Inlet side of the block, near the front . . it's the only one with TWO wires, so check the plug is on properly. And the Fuel Pump ECU is in the rear of the car, and has several wires coming from the main Engine ECU - have you disturbed any of the wiring at all? add heywood Posted February 11, 2014 Share Posted February 11, 2014 I had this, as said the ecu water temp sender. Mine was one of the wires had broken off right near the plug. Stuck it back together and started first time. There are 2 senders close together. The one with 2 wires goes to the ecu and one with a single wire is for the dash gauge.
