Marcus GTE Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 I thought I'd share a repair I did to a loose headlight washer that's been annoying me for ages. It was lazily stuck into place using double sided tape. And was hanging to one side. Changing to new headlights to replace my old corroded ones gave an opertunity to see what the problem was. There are two 10mm bolts holding it in place, one was missing for some reason. They are tricky to reach because you can see them. Happy with the result. I don't know if its just UK spec engine bays but getting access to the near side headlight bolts was tricky because of this guy on the right The bolt on the right slips off the bracket without having to come all the way out and I had to bend the bracket down slightly to get access to the corner bolts Before After Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Planning to get mine done at some point as the chrome is peeled. Also got a loose dildo on the front of mine that needs doing. So this is useful! Planning to get mine done at some point as the chrome is peeled. Also got a loose dildo on the front of mine that needs doing. So this is useful! One of mine is loose too. I think the way they protrude they must get bumped by people and cars trying to park all the time. Black box- I think it is to do with the alarm as suggested. It made access to the lights a pain.
