Fly
As above can anyone lend me a crank pulley removal tool, I'm talking about the tool that braces the pulley when removing the crank pulley bolt. I have just got myself a set of lightweight pulleys so I thought when I take the head off I could replace all the pulleys. Thanks
TheTurtleshead
Where are you? PM me. I'm near P'boro/Stamford.... Think you're not too far away. Also, are you talking about replacing the stock crank pulley with a lightweight/solid version?
Fly
Yea I'm an hour north of you. Yes I'm looking to replace the stock with a lightweight/ solid depending on the condition of my current one and the quality of the new
TheTurtleshead
Everyone will be along shortly to tell you that's a bad idea lol. Been discussed a lot before, Stock pulley is a dampener... Blah blah blah... Don't do it lol, have a cheeky search
Fly
Fair enough, ile keep the original as I think it's been replaced in the past. The rest ile fit though. I only wanted to change it as it came with the set didn't even intend to buy the kit to be honest, it just happened. I've found some black adjustable cam gears too.... Must hold back

Must hold back Ahh the surprise purchase I've had a few of those! Some people do for them and get away with it... It won't make any difference to the power though, so I wouldn't bother, especially as you say it's nearly new anyway. It is there for a reason or Mr T wouldn't have bothered. If you do need a locking tool though I have got one, happy to help.
