Noz Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 I'm making some LED indicators. I notice without a repeater, the speed increases. This must be due to having less resistance in the circuit. If I make LED indicators, for the front and side, how can I be sure I have replicated the same values as the bulb to reduce the flashing speed? You want a 50w 6.8 Ohm ish resistor in parallel with the LED indicator - this mimics the load of a bulb bringing the flashing rate to the correct speed. Mostly marketed for bikes and caravans/trailers, though, and it may not be worth the hassle of wiring one into the Supra if there isn't a direct replacement.
