Fitting New Seats

Samsar

Recommended Posts

I've just got myself some new seats that I'm planning on fitting over the weekend.

I'm just wondering about the best way of cleaning them before I fit them.

Is it possible to strip them down to give them a good scrub or best to leave them intact and clean them that way?

These are the seats in question.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367686640.067581.jpg

The covering material (whatever it is) on aftermarket seats is a REAL pain in the obvious to clean. Even my uber-powerful Bosch vacuum cleaner struggles to get the dusty stuff off.

Not helpful, but know that I feel your pain...

Apparently they've been sat in a barn for a while so most of it is just dusty :)

Once I've got them done I'll possibly be selling the leather seats I'm taking out.

Wet vac or interior shampoo. The autoglym stuff works well; just need to apply and rub lightly with a clean brush
