Geo
Spotted this on the car a few wks back, it was hunting for idle. Now it hunts between 300-1000rpm from a cold start, even when warmed at idle(not driven it will hunt) Today it started doing it again, but when i drive the car, she idles fine bang on 900rpm, and runs sweet? Im thinking IACV, so might pop it off and use my Own guide How to clean it out. Just wondering if there is anything else it could be, or to look for? cheers guys
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
you could have a vac leak mate or IACV might need cleaning. if your BPU now mate my guess is most likely vac lines.
Kirk
Check for split vac pipes. Air leaks can cause erratic idle.

Check for split vac pipes. Air leaks can cause erratic idle. Not BPU yet bud, still completely stock, It goes away once the car is driven, and idles perfect. I'll have a look and see if i can see any splits in the Vac lines to be sure. Although i would have thought an air leak would cause the idle issue all the time? cheers guys
