Hi guys need some help with this one i noticed today that my gearbox cooler was so hot that the left hand side light eas also very hot all i have done is start the car from called and let it warm up to normal temp so what i did is switched of the car and checked the transmission fluid to see if it is low but it wasnt so i put my finger on the fluid and it was warm. I found that strange but is it normal for the car to do that any help on this is appreciated thanks

Shouldnt normal operating temps be around 120-150?? Which im not too sure about but I know thats fairly hot to touch. Get yourself a temp gauge mate and im sure someone will correct me on the normal operating temp as I could do with knowing too.

Thanks its fairly hot to touch but got me a bit worried because i didnt drive the car that was stood just to warm it up but the oil in the gearbox was no were near as hot so i was thinking maybe its not circulating or somthing or it might be blocked the other thing i have noticed is that when iv bn givingit the beans i get a noise which comes from under the car its sounds like a light nocking sound but iv had the car on the ramps its not coming from the engine but on the other my aristo does the same thing mk2 vvti
