hackin_n_bashin
Is there any point of fitting my auto TT rad into the NA manual track toy? What would be the best thing to run through the secondary cooler? PAS? Gearbox? If it's the gearbox, if anything at all, what would I need, thermostat/control wise to operate it? hodge
A manual doesn't need a gearbox cooler. Run the PAS through it.
hackin_n_bashin
As it's mainly going to be used on the track, would the diff or gearbox be better than the PAS? does the PAS fluid get that warm it becomes detrimental? If only I could run the brake fluid through it, I'd save a load on upgrading them!
Colin-mkiv
I dont think anything other than engine oil would need cooling, even on the track. Would you be able to fit a filter mount sandwich plate and run the engine oil from that through the cooler?
hackin_n_bashin
Well I would hope that people more experienced than I would throw there tuppence in. But people seem more occupied elsewhere.
dr_jekyll
the pas fluid does get pretty hot on track as you are working it hard. id run the pas through it and if you intend on doing extended runs an oil cooler will be handy
