I was told the normal wheel size for a mark iii is 225/50 16. would the rears be too wide at 245? is the stud pattern the same? anyone... ?? jim_supra Posted July 31, 2005 Share Posted July 31, 2005 This is a mod that quite a few mkiii owners are doing on the cheap, the wheels will fit even with them being wider at the rear. and the stud pattern is the same I have a mkiii, one of the later models which came with 16'' wheels almost identical to the mkiv's, just something you might wanna look into aswell.
