Ahh, so because you are winding up the engine and the power the TC will bite a little bit earlier than it would without any load?

 

So if you got a 3500 hi stall it would bite in far earlier when brake boosting?

 

Depends on how much torque the motor makes Scott, I would say the 3500 is a nice stall for the road BUT I would still fit a lock up switch for motorway use. The easier you are on the throttle the less it will stall.
