Scott Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Hmm, it sounds a bit suspect. I know that ECUs can be a little tricky to get at but they are generally plug and play. CJ Posted January 14, 2012 Share Posted January 14, 2012 My son had major problems with the ECU on his Fiesta and despite trying to get other ecus to fit (yes, we were told they were the right ones too) it never worked. I made sure that the year (approximately), engine size, transmission and dashboard dial configuration (i.e. digital or analogue odometer) of the donor car were the same as my car.
