On a manual that is the only thing it does, removes the 155mph limit.

 

On an auto there is some speculation as to whether removing this fuse also defeat's the closing of the throttle when the auto box changes gear.

 

I'm not sure if this has been proven one way or another.

Just to clarify it does switch off the traction control system as well.

 

I was ASS-U-MING that people would realise that as it is called the trac fuse.
