Connecting a w58 up to a 1jz gte, help!

After so much debating whether to go for a r154 and buying loads of parts to make a 7m r154 compatable with a soarer 1jzgte in my mkiv, ive came to the conclusion I want to keep my w58 and marry this up to the 1jz... Okay heres where the problem begins, what flywheel and clutch can I use to mate up the w58 with the 1jzgte? Also, will the w58 bell housing be usuable for this?

 

Plan is to stick with light mods and run shy of 320bhp on the w58 until it goes pop, then ill get the r154 !

So any help will be appriciated, need to mate the gearbox up with the engine, anyone whos had experience with this, please post or pm me

mmm looks like competition clutch have a flywheel thats compatable with the w58 http://store.driftmotion.com/static/i-2-607-2stu.php

Im assuming now its just a case of uprating the clutch and itll mate up with this flywheel ??? Bobs your uncle and fannies your aunt

Are you talking about a W58 that's come from a MkIV? It should be very easy if you are, as you're going from a 2JZ to a 1JZ.

 

Competition Clutches do several uprated options, there's a fair selection available at Whifbitz.

It will bolt straight up, just pick your clutch.

Should just be the non turbo 5 speed clutch for that, I'd recommend the Stage 4 6 pad ceramic verson if your intending to run that sort of power, in stock here if needed...
