dani_r
Just giving the car a going over as coming to the UK tomorrow to bring my girlfriend to Uni. Tried to start her up and I got click-click-click-click-click in quite fast order. Battery is good, no loss of power. I know the contacts were getting a bit worn as very very occasionally it would turn over once and then nothing. But this is new! It started eventually after trying a few times, but this is not good as I don't have the time to get the bits! Will it be ok?
Chris Wilson
Take a long bar to give the starter a crack on the casing with. Don't smack any plastic bits. Leave it running when re fuelling.only turn off when vital. If you are coming to the Midlands I can refurb the thing while you wait, with some notice.
