hackin_n_bashin
Same fitments I think, but I think there are some mods to do to the bracket. Wanted as much info as I could before I started, as I'm still a little wary of playing with stuff that sits in fuel!
dandan
There's some info in my project thread on my 044 pump install here.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?194439-Dan-s-Supra-Project&p=2570731&viewfull=1#post2570731
Chris Wilson
Totally different fitments, you would need to get a suitable adaptor to link the output of the Bosch pump to the fuel line. You need to buy the Bosch specific "sock filter" for the base of the pump. You need to be creative and make some means of attaching it to the stock fuel pump hangar. There have been various photos put up of these conversions, a search on Bosch 044 should find something.

Think I have the adapter, and definitely have the sock, will have a check in the morning, after taxing the damn thing! Was the creativeness part I was missing, cheers Chris

dandan
Cheers Dan' date=' your a star[/quote'] No sweat - this line in my post is important The pump was resting on the bottom part of the hanger (where the stock pump's rubber mount is) but this made the whole thing too long. I ended up chopping the hanger a little shorter but unfortunately I didn't get any pics at the time. You need to chop the 90degree bent bit off the end of the hanger - start with about 5-6mm off the total length and then try it sat in the tank. You'll know if it is too long as the sock filter will hit the bottom of the tank and the hanger won't sit down properly in position.
