adi2009
I ve been having some serious problems with my idling after the NA-TT swap. The rpm keeps fluctuating about 300 rpm above normal and each cycle takes about 1 second. I ve checked for error codes and the only one i got was code # 21, so that seems to be due to a fault in the main O2 sensor wiring. Can a problem with the O2 sensor cause an idling problem like this??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers adi

adi2009
Thanks for the reply. Well what i need to know is that whether a faulty O2 sensor can cause the kind of idling issue i described. Cheers
Markie
Not 100% sure. Don't think it will. I think it will just get your car running real rich. Can anyone second that or maybe I am totally wrong. If you do that test and your car is not a VVT-i then you should be able to tell whether the sensor actually is faulty or not...
absz
yes its possible for the 02 sensor to cause problems with idle. the sensor monitors oxygen levels in the system and determines the vehicle (via ecu)to run rich or lean.
