Nice one, a cheap, working, non electrical component thats easy to fit to my car for a change!

Throw me your paypal address and I'll send the £15 to you straight away Scott.

This will do the the job perfectly until I get the car back up and running properly with the BPU'd 1JZ and all its accompanying accoutrements and then I might consider an upgrade.

God help me.

And yes mate, I'm in the Republic.

Just went out in the car for a little tweak here and there (after I fitted some plugging caps) and took note of the settings...

Boost - 1.2Bar

Gain - 54

What I saw at these settings....

1st Turbo Peak - 1.1Bar

1st Turbo Settled - 1.0Bar

Both Turbos Peak - 1.3Bar

Both Turbos Settled - 1.2Bar

These figures were taken in 3rd gear pulls with a fully warmed car (I had just bled the coolant).

Most I could muster in 1st was a 1.1bar peak. 2nd sees 1.2bar but doesn't peak as high, around 1.24iirc :D

Glad your happy with it Scott, from what I can remember you can data log on the unit also so can check just how well it's doing, that's why opted for it in the first place :)

Really? No idea how to do that. Guess it would maybe be a secondary unit or something that plugs into the back? I figured out the gauge, buttons and settings in a matter of minutes, very very easy controller to understand :)

Peak hold is good enough for me mate :D

  • 5 months later...

Had a Greddy Profec B Spec 2 on my MR2, the gain feature was great and it was so easy to use/tune.

Was great having 2 boost modes high and low, going from an MBC the difference was like night and day with the EBC. Will be one of the 1st things I buy.
