hodge
I've been thinking of different ways of getting 2 x 044s in a tank and this just piped in there but I don't know how feezable it would be. Would the top of 1 pump be joined to the bottom of the other so they stand on top of eachother. So the bottom feeds the top and the top feeds the fuel line. Now getting a fitting to join the 2 together wouldn't be a problem as I'd have 1 made at work. I'm just thinking on the lines of an internal pump feeding an external pump idea but odviously both in tank. I'd have to take some measurements to see if 2 will fit top to tail. What's your opinions on this.
mellonman
hope this helps http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/pumps-parallel-serial-d_636.html sounds like you will get more preasure but no more flow, as they can only pump the same amount
dandan
What's stopping you putting them side by side Hodge?
hodge
I'm just looking at something tidy with only 1 feed pipe coming from the top of the hanger.

I suppose its designed to suck fuel out of the tank, not have it forced through. Might be wrong though?
hodge
Last two pics...? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?196108-Hodge-s-(Shiney-bits)-Supra-Project&p=2861321&viewfull=1#post2861321 It looks well, a little untidy for my liking Dan. I did think about welding an extension to the side of the hanger but dismissed it for that very reason.
mellonman
looks untidy do you have a see through petrol tank? by the look of that hanger it wouldnt of fitted in the tank like that or would have hard to get into place as the pumps + unit are wider then the hanger top.
