THE ANIMAL Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 morning everyone, my aerial decided not to work this morning, radio comes on but wont do anything it just says code waiting, typed code in then it says waiting does nothing, battery was disconnected yesterday, like i say got power to radio but aerial stayed down, any ideas anyone, thanks. stevie_b Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 Not sure if this is a headunit problem or an aerial mast problem. I presume the code is a security code the headunit. I'd pull the fuse for the headunit to reset it, and try typing the code in again. You need to get the headunit to the state where it's trying to pick up radio signals. The belt driving the mast up and down can snap/perish over time, but I'm not convinced that's the problem here. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
