A worrying rattle started to get louder when on 800 revs

Really? Mine stays for ages.

Mine stays for ages too. But if I get out of the car (or if someone else comes to check) it takes seconds before it goes. It's typical. If I sit in the car (or no-ones checking) it will go on forever providing it's under 1200rpm (approx). This is the kind of typicalities and luck I have to go through on a daily basis.

haha, that is just life isnt it.

No, but the noise on my car stays.

When i go to the gym later, it should happen so ill record it and upload it to show you.

Did you have any joy looking under your car?

First time I've really looked underneath the car. Everything seemed to be pretty secure and was as expected really.

Look forward to seeing the video so I can see if it's similar. I would upload a video too but the last time I bothered doing such thing, Youtube told me it would take several days to upload (for a 1 minute video). Typical... again.

Here is the source of the rattle on mine:

This u-clamp, has been knocked as you can see (probably by our ridiculously high speed bumps) so it's come slightly loose. It still feels pretty secure but the rattles of the car + heat expansion causes all sorts of noises from the most little of changes.

So what shall I do? Can I get this part from Toyota? Or cheaper elsewhere? Or is it fine to actually just take it off?
