Was bored today so i thoguth id have a laugh with some quotes, so i did a quote on a na turbo and tt and what i found was slightly wierd. For an n/a it came out at 1287 a year for the turbo it was 1689 and for the tt it was less then the turbo at 1472. So i just thought shall i get rid of my n/a and get a tt as the insurence isnt that much more.

by the way im 21 with 1 years no claim and put it as fully comp with 500 excess.

It's because the NA was import only, whereas the TT wasn't.

Being as the na is the slowest and less tunable i thought the insurance would be more.

You got that the other way around. A turbocharged RWD is much more likely to crash and those Supras that do crash are mostly turbos. They always hold a much higher value, which the insurance companies have to (or should) pay out for. N/As aren't particuarly dangerous cars to drive (providing the driver isn't a total buffoon).
