adi2009
I got some parts from JPS recently and the picture below is supposed to be the front half of the driveshaft for the 6spd transmission, but to me it looks like the driveshaft from a 5spd. Can anyone confirm that it is a 6spd driveshaft???
Digsy
Is there a part number on it anywhere?
adi2009
Its OK mate. Just confirmed that it is a 5spd driveshaft, Although i had asked for a 6spd driveshaft. Oh well, what can i say, I'm just dissappointed. I did not expect this from JPS, made me think twice about buying used parts from traders next time. Wez
Surely if its the wrong part you can send it back.
adi2009
Surely if its the wrong part you can send it back. I could but the part was directly shipped to India (thats where my car is). This is not the first time it got messed up. Basically i bought all the parts for a 5spd to 6spd swap including 6spd box etc etc. the first time i ended up with all the parts except that only half of the drive shaft was there and the clutch pressure plate was missing. Then after a million and one phone calls i got them to send me the front half of the driveshaft and pressure plate only to realise that the front half of the drive shaft that they sent me belongs to a 5spd. No point in me trying to get the parts again because i m the one paying international shipping, and who knows i might end up with a Auto's drive shaft next time. Just going straight to Curt Aiger, atleast if Mr. T charges a lot they send the right parts!!!
