Guest wantthatone
hi, i see some of the members on here have used these to fit gauges, can any one advise if this is an easy task & what if any parts are used to hold the gauge in place? or do you suggest another way? thanks:)
hackin_n_bashin
Need to use 60mm gauges mate. I took the panel off, eased off the back of the vent to get the ball out, carefully split the ball and took the blades out. Cut out the bars at the rear to let you access the wires of the gauge if needed. In there is a little plastic gasket around the outlet, cut that down to be a good fit around the gauge, then 1 layer of masking or insulation tape, and push the gauge into the ball. Refit the ball into the panel, wire up, refit the panel and hey presto.
