Lude
its for a renault megane 2, but logic applied to all cars really the car isnt opening from outside the car, but it is opening from inside. so guess its not stuck locked? this has happende sine i slammed the door shut, but the handle was froze open. when i shut the handle the door woudnt close even, had to use the fob to lock it. any tips? this a mechanical fault rarther than electrical? shima60
Take the door card off and take a look at the mechanism My drivers side door wouldnt open the other day so i just re greased all the inside gubbins and all is well now.
Lude
ok cheers, just wondered if it was a electrical issue keeping the handle locked or something, i will never own a renault!

mistertwo
Happened to me a couple of times this week. Just shot a load of WD40/De-icer into the key hole - ten minutes later all is fine!
