bt wireless routers and cable wireless routers

just been on PC World website as i want an N Router, but whats the difference between bt wireless routers and cable wireless routers?

BT wireless routers are normally ADSL routers ie the phone line connection. Cable routers are normally ethernet only connection. So if your ISP is BT or SKY they are normally ADSL, if Virgin it could be cable.

So for the normal router with a built in modem, using a BT land line with O2 broadband a BT Router is needed?

Using BT/02 will be an ADSL Modem Router.

Using Virgin will be a Cable Modem Router

 

Anything with ADSL and router will do you fine, unsure as to WHY you need an N? But choice is yours

N's coverage is far superior to A/B/G

G Router will only send out 12 Meg of speed as an N Router can avarage 40 Meg and as were 20Meg its with it fir the extra 8
