Pools of water

I am getting what appears to be pools of clean water under my car in the area below the front of the gearbox, I don't think its from the coolant system as there doesn't appear to be any anti-freeze in it, is it from the air con condensor ? or any other ideas, cheers guys

It was pretty himid today so air con will dump extra water on the deck. Wait till it gets hot and himid you may think you have blown your engine looking at the size of the water pool. I have people tell me my rad is leaking in summer due to air con.

Thanks for the info, I have now traced the source and it is from the air con. However mine drops it onto the main steel cross member. Don't know if there should be a plastic tube on it but I'm going to fit one if I can get to it. Once again thanks for the help.

I'm getting something similar on my driveway from under the engine. It seems to be a clear liquid but not water. I can't even jet wash it off the paving stones - its permanently stained them! What is this stuff? Brake fluid? I know GB oil is red so it's not that - what the hell else can it be?

Fooked if I know! I can't see anything dripping anywhere - seems to be around the front of the engine - not the back where the brake MC sits!

Stumped!

:(

Have you checked your radiator? when I had a rad hose leak in the garage the anti-freeze stained the concrete floor?

I suppose unfortunately at the front of the engine bay you have got just about every fluid for the car except the brakes !!

Aye, fair point Dave - I'll have a look at that. Can you see all the pipework without taking all the engine covers off from underneath? I can't get my fat head under the front spoiler - too low to the ground! :D

I'll have a peep tomorrow and see...

Cheers mate...
