Greddy 3 row pipes..

OK, I have a Greddy 3 row intercooler fitted and Im not 100% happy with where it sits in relation to my do-luck front bumper...

Im going to need to have some CUSTOM brackets made up and the aluminium pipes are going to need to be cut and made longer in some sections .

I am then having a thin plastic trim fitted around the cooler to the radiator to FORCE air through the units instead of around them...

Im also having some custom cool air intake stuff sorted out..

Does anyone know EXACTLY where I can get a length of aluminum pipe that is the same size as the 3 row piping for cutting and splicing in to the original piping?

:woot:

I'll be able to get a bit from our fab company if you get stuck Chris. Let me know if you need a price.

Gaz.

That would be great! If you would measure the radius / diameter of a Greddy 3 row pipe for me and get me about a foot of plain aluminium pipe the same size so I can get hacking and re-welding!

Dont worry about the cost, I bought it for a project that never got off the ground so it has been sat in the garage doing nothing.

Are you going to gt battle this weekend i could bring it then or i can post if you prefer?

I'm sure I'm teaching Granny to suck eggs, and you've already got this covered, but you can't weld aluminium in the same way as steel. It is possible, but just not as easy. I'm not sure in the process differences between the two, but I remember that I could never get my aluminium pipes I used to design, welded to steel pipes, I had to bolt them.
