Guest N.KREFT
High all ,have checked the rear of my instrument cluster for iffy connections all ok there ,no wires been added on where do i look for the E C U ? to check the wires there as far as i know my auto n/a has not been delimited so i cant seem to find the fault, i have checked auto fluid and replaced geared speed sensor on box and little magnet sensor next to it, all i can think of is a dodgy wire on ECU if i can find it, have also run a solder iron on odo circuit board.in case of dry joint still no joy please help with info
ardasaliah
Have you tried resetting the ECU??. Pull EF1 and EF2 fuses from fuse box for 2 mins then replace. You car may run a little rough for a few minutes after-This is normal. I think a flashing o/d light indicates a stored fault code- not to sure. Reset the ECU a see what happens

Jake
It could be a faulty speedo converter or a bad earth connection on the speedo converter. They are usually wired into the ECU harness which is in the passenger side footwell, under the carpet and a black plastic cover.
GeordieSteve
I've had this a few times. Taking the terminal off the batter for a few minutes sorts it
