Also you might need to tighten up the connections on the ECU plug. I once had a nightmare raft of problems on mine and it was because these pins had become loose from unplugging the loom a lot.

 

When the engine is running, try moving the main wiring loom at the ECU end, really move it and bend it around while listening to the engine, that'll soon show up bad connections.
