Hi

I have a defi boost gauge, it shows 1.1bar on it, but on my boost controller HKS EVC-S it shows 0.9bar. On the idle the readings or same. It is just when i want to see how much boost i get, that is when value or different.

The defi boost gauge and the boost controller are install on same vacuum house.

Which one should i trust the defi boost gauge or boost controller?, Or why does it shows different?

Thanks

There are also two in the back of the intake manifold which can be used, the boost controller should be connected to pre throttle to prevent controller wind up when manifold pressure cant reach target when the throttle is closed. (This is shown in all the instructions)

I run boost controller Pre throttle, Boost gauge on inlet manifold.

At wide open throttle both will or should read the same, for accuracy I would probably trust the boost controller.

Depends on where they are connected to the vacuum system...

Check here (scroll down a bit):

ok, the boost gauge and the boost controller are connected like that as shown
