mplavery
Hi people When i was installing my FMIC i noticed that the pipe that goes from the intercooler to the elbow which goes on to the inlet was a different diameter. I noticed that if i cut down a piece of Samco hose and put it on the smaller diameter, it was then the same size as the intercooler pipe. So then i just put a larger Samco over the lot with a few clips on each side which seems to have a good seal. Just wondered if that will be ok until i find the correct Samco hose cheers
DaveR
As long as the jubilee clips are done up nice and tight, I don't think it will be a drama. I had to do something similar when I was plumbing in some new alloy pipework for my own FMIC and it works fine.

Thats what i thought, just making sure i did not have to rush to get the right pipe
