jagman Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 Voltages can be checked off load or on load- if the pump is disconnected it's off load - so you would get battery voltage, if not exactly battery voltage then a connection problem If voltage on load (pump connected) then the voltage can drop a bit , but too much means the pump is knackered - dragging down the volts or filter blocked , making the pump work harder Y ou can use a bulb and 2 pieces of wire to simulate on load ( if bulbs big enough) and check if the bulb dims compared to straight across the battery Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
