But if that is what the FA want then rules should have been put in this season to curb our players, not leave it to now to see if we can avoid a card. No, the F word is internationally recognised! Besides, his body language itself is indicative of dissent. Rooney would have been booked almost anywhere in the world, except perhaps the English premiership. Dissent against match officials shouldn't be tolerated. Other team sports have to show more respect for the match officials, only the overpaid prima-donnas in football think they are above all that, whatever country they come from!
