Awesome new scam. Nearly got me

Phone call from paul lane.

 

From the police mag, asking if i want to pay for advert space. They claim to be funded by the goverment. I agree that i want the space and a price.

 

30 seconds later i get a call from his art work people! They confirm that i want the space and tell me they will email the details and post me a hard copy.

 

Im thinking this is very odd for a bank hoilday. Then the penny drops they ask for payment now! and they only have mob numbers!

 

A quick search on the net shows it to be a scam, i await the phone call where they claim i had entered into a verbel contract with them and they will threaten to take me to court.

 

I phone paul back and tell him its a scam, he hangs up

 

I have phoned the local police and they have now logged it as attempted fraud and will be sending someone out to me.
