Ian C Posted May 24, 2005 Share Posted May 24, 2005 Sounds to me like when you ease of the brake to creep forward, autobox-stylee, the engine tries to stall? If you could somehow find out the air/fuel ratio at that point it'd help lots, I dunno if you've got a gauge that shows it or not... If it's in neutral and you rev the engine up and let it drop, does it stumble at If the engine hasn't got a strong idle it's usually fuel related - be it too much or not enough. -Ian Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mikeyh Posted May 26, 2005 Author Share Posted May 26, 2005 hi guys today i found out the problem with my missfire i done a compression test and all cylinders were at about 170 apart from number 5 which was only at a 100.would you say that this is most likely to be a valve?do the supras suffer from cracked heads or piston failure. any ideas who to carry out the work for me im near ipswich so closer the better also any ideas on cost of repairing this problem cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
