jackso11
I just went to fit a Greddy BCC and found a Greddy speed cut controller next to the ECU. First question, does the Greddy speed cut controller also work as a BCC, in otherwords do I still need to fit my BCC next to it? Second question, is the Greddy speed cut controller a good one that doesn't mess up the power steering etc? I have searched this and seen it asked a few times but not found an answer. jackso11
nobody knows how the Greddy works and if it is as good as the THOR?
Nic
The speed cut controller only removes the speed limiter, you will also need the boost cut controller if you want to go above 1bar. BTW there is a yellow screw inside the BCC box that adjusts the fuel cut level, it may take a bit of adjusting to set to level you need.
jackso11
I got the BCC off a member and am told it is set up for the supra already so should be ok. Do you know if the speed delimiter works like the THOR or like the less prefered HKS?
jackso11
what is the level by the way? surely if it is a boost level at which it cuts you just set it high and it doesn't cut. Or if it is voltage taken by the unit you just set it low?
Nic
The stock fuel cut is around 1bar. The BCC raises the fuel cut level, the adjuster screw determines what the level is raised to. I'd set it to 1.3bar so it'll cut in and save the turbos if they overboost for any reason.
