Hey guys

I do not know quite whether it is necessary for me to have mapped my car ... What do you think ?

AFR meter shows 11.5-12.2 idling on hot engine

And around 10 at full throttle ... Is this too rich mixture - or I can run like that?

Idle should be 14.7:1

0.0-0.7bar ~12.5-11.7:1

0.7bar+ ~11.3-10.3

Cold idle will probably be in the 13's...

In short your AFR's are a mess and you need it sorting - you're threatening the engine with bore wash, oil contamination and detonation.

The AFR gauge probably stops as 10....but the real reading is far lower.

I would guess if it used to be ok that the fuel pressure is too high but I couldn't be sure without some facts...

nice spec, you need to get it tuned correctly else you will kill the engine ...

Hi Johnson, as I said before you're consistantly over rich in all areas of the map.

Are you able to get the static fuel pressure? You can get that without firing the engine if you have a gauge, there is a guide how to check it.

No idea how much driving you've done with the fueling like this but I promise you anymore is risking it's long term health.

Please take it to your nearest HKS mapper.

You Should take your Beast to shakspeare raceway;)

What planet are you on - sod off out of technical if you're going to make silly comments like that.

Seriously.

The last thing anyone should do is encourage driving this car in this state.

Pick up a copy of ANY tuning book, like Maximum Boost by Corky Bell

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maximum-Boost-Turbocharger-Engineering-Performance/dp/0837601606

and it will confirm what I am saying. It's worth reading a book like that when you own a modified turbo car so that you know what's what with your pride and joy!!
