Matt _Aero top_
Clay shooting ...... I love it , I've been shooting now for the best part of 15 years . I now shoot for a team in sheffield which i really enjoy as it puts abit of competition into the sport , And theres nothing like the strange nervous feeling you get when its your first pair of clays on the first stand with the rest of the two teams watching . if your ever up sheffield way let us know and we can arrange a shoot . Ewen
....if your ever up sheffield way let us know and we can arrange a shoot . Thats very nice of you Matt. I've been at it for a year now, totally hooked. Done one CPSA reg comp so far (ESP), need to do two more to get a grade / ranking. I did really well in the weeks running up to it and lost the plot on the day. Great stress buster usually, but I need to learn to relax when under pressure with an audience. Matt _Aero top_
but I need to learn to relax when under pressure with an audience. i think nerves wil always be there mate , some of the blokes i shoot with are of all ages older than me and the bloke that taught ( which i still shoot with ) always tells me its good to get nerves it gives you that edge if you know what i mean . Ewen
where did you do this , and how much was it may i ask . It was held at my club, Purbeck Shooting School. http://www.shooting.uk.com/ £35 to enter...no cash prize. Southern Counties hold CPSA registered shoots more often, but usually weekdays. Obviously there are hundreds of reg comps all over the country. Still, I made a start.... http://www.cpsa.co.uk/scores/fixtures/38/46056 I'm Mr. 50% so far.
