yer will do .. going to take it off tomorrow.. on that note though , if i take it out will it affect anything else ? i mean will i still be able to use my key fob as an immobaliser ?? or will it not let me start the engine??

 

might have to try it out i suppose, wish me luck for tomorrow.

 

ill keep ya informed on the situation. :)

Are you quite sure you need to go to the expense of replacing the control box?

A lot of people are reporting intermittent use of the central locking and I found when I "hair-dryer'd" the doors the other week, the locking worked again for a bit until it got cold.

Only this morning on the way to work, I noticed the windows steaming up more indicating too much moisture in the car.

 

Would drying out the interior, de-humidifier, silica gel or rice on a tray not work?

 

Its not like having no central locking stops the car from working day to day.
